A Year of My Making

Create a year that supports the life you actually want.

A four-week virtual course to get grounded in who you are, envision who you're becoming, and create a flexible path for moving through the year with intention. Because your year shouldn't be built around who you think you're supposed to be. It should begin with you.

Starting January 2027

What if you approached your new year differently?

A new year can bring pressure to set the right goals, make a plan, and become the person you think you're supposed to be. But what if you started somewhere else?

What do you actually want? What do you need more of? And what would it look like to shape a year around the life you want to live—not just the expectations you're trying to meet? Between work, relationships, and the many ways others depend on you, it's easy to lose sight of those questions.

You deserve a year that begins with you.

Not a rigid plan or another list of expectations. A clearer sense of what matters, a direction that feels like your own, and room to grow as life unfolds.

And you won't have to figure it all out on your own.

You'll be doing this alongside others who are also making space for what matters to them—a chance to learn from one another and begin the year in good company.

By the end of this course, you’ll:

Four weeks. A different way to approach your year.

Over four weeks, you'll move from understanding where you are today to creating a flexible path for where you want to go—with space to reflect, explore, and make it your own.

Week 1: Know Who I Am

Get grounded in who you are today: your qualities, experiences, desires, and what matters most to you right now.

OUTCOME: You’ll create an Identity Inventory to help guide your vision for the year.

Week 2: See Who I'm Becoming

Envision who you're becoming and explore the difference between goals shaped by outside expectations and those that reflect what you genuinely want.

OUTCOME: You’ll establish a set of personal goals rooted in your values, needs, and desires.

Week 3: Map My Path

Bring your insights and goals together to begin mapping a way forward—without needing to know exactly how the year will unfold.

OUTCOME: You’ll build our own Living Map, a flexible guide for the year ahead.

Week 4: Be Held as I Grow

Identify the practices and supports that help you stay connected to what matters, navigate change, and keep moving without adding more pressure.

OUTCOME: You’ll make a personal accountability plan and receive an invitation to reconnect at a midyear group check-in.

A map for the year you're creating.

Sample 2026 Living Map

You don't need to know exactly where the year will take you. But it helps to have something that brings you back to where you want to go.

Your Living Map brings together your intentions, goals, insights, practices, and supports in one flexible guide. It's a way to stay connected to what matters, make choices with greater clarity, and adjust as life unfolds.

Not a rigid plan to follow. A guide you can return to.

This is for you if…

  • You're ready to approach the year with more intention, but another list of resolutions doesn't appeal to you.

  • You're used to showing up for others and want to make more room for your own needs and desires.

  • You're questioning goals you've been pursuing and want to understand what you actually want.

  • You want a clearer sense of direction without needing to have everything figured out.

  • You're looking for a way to hold yourself accountable that leaves room for change, rest, and being human.

You don't need to arrive with a vision, a set of goals, or a plan. Just a willingness to get curious about yourself and the year you want to create.

An offering for Black women in transition.

Black women have been disproportionately affected by job loss and unemployment. By late 2025, unemployment among Black women had reached 7%, compared with 4% for women overall.

This reality is part of why I'm setting aside a limited number of scholarship spots for Black women navigating this experience. It's my commitment to making space for reflection, grounding, and community during a time when so much may feel uncertain.

If you've been laid off, had to leave a job, or taken a leave of absence to tend to your well-being in 2025 or 2026—and you're still not working—I invite you to request one of the limited scholarship slots.

You deserve space to reconnect with yourself and imagine what comes next, without having to figure it all out alone.
